Product Brochure

Calcium is essential for building and maintaining strong bones. Isotonix Calcium Plus provides the body with an optimal blend of calcium, vitamin D3, magnesium, vitamin C and boron in an efficient isotonic solution that is readily absorbed by the body. Isotonix dietary supplements are similar in pressure as body's own fluids. All fluids in the human body have a certain concentration, which is called the osmotic pressure. The body's common osmotic pressure, which is isotonic, allows a consistent maintenance of all body tissues.

The efficiency of absorption is also affected by the digestive system. All substances that are used in the stomach go through a degradation process (breakdown) before they can be passed through the opening from the stomach to the small intestine to allow absorption. The digestive process can cause some substances to lose some nutritive value, and this whole process takes time! The benefit of the isotonic process is probably now becoming clear! Isotonix Calcium Plus paves the way for beneficial results since it is in an isotonic form. The addition of vitamin D and magnesium are necessary to aid in the absorption and use of calcium. Isotonix Calcium Plus has no need of stomach acid to be utilised. It delivers an efficient calcium solution that is more readily absorbed by the intestine. Its natural lemon-lime flavour is preferable to the taste of some chewable calcium wafers or tablets. Many calcium supplements exist in the marketplace, but Market Singapore's Isotonix Calcium Plus delivers calcium and other beneficial nutrients through an isotonic system of delivery.

Ingredients

Calcium
The highest concentration of calcium is found in milk. Other foods rich in calcium include vegetables, such as collard greens, Chinese cabbage, mustard greens, broccoli, bok choy and tofu. Calcium is an essential mineral with a wide range of biological roles. The skeleton has a structural requisite and acts as a storehouse for calcium. Apart from being a major component of bones and teeth, calcium is necessary for maintaining healthy muscle, nerve and cardiovascular health. Sufficient daily calcium intake is necessary for maintaining optimal bone density, healthy bones and teeth. When the body does not get enough calcium per day, it draws calcium from your bones.

Magnesium
Foods rich in magnesium include unpolished grains, nuts and green vegetables. Green, leafy vegetables are rich sources of magnesium because of their chlorophyll content. Meats, starches, dairy products, and refined and processed foods contain low amounts of magnesium. Magnesium is required by the body to build healthy bones and teeth, and to maintain healthy muscle development. It works together with calcium and vitamin D to help keep bones strong.

Manganese
Manganese is a mineral found in large quantities in both plant and animal matter. Dietary sources of manganese include whole grains, nuts, leafy vegetables and teas. Manganese is concentrated in the bran of grains, which is often removed during processing. Only trace amounts of this element can be found in human tissue. Manganese is predominantly stored in the bones, liver, kidney and pancreas. It aids in the formation of connective tissue, bones, blood-clotting factors and sex hormones. It plays a role in supporting fat and carbohydrate metabolism, calcium absorption and supports healthy sugar levels. Manganese is also necessary for healthy brain and nerve function. Some experts estimate that some people do not get the recommended daily amounts of manganese in their diet. This may be due to the fact that whole grains are a major source of dietary manganese, and many people consume refined grains more often than whole grains. Refined grains provide half the amount of manganese as whole grains.

Vitamin B2
Vitamin B2 is a found in liver, dairy products, dark green vegetables and some types of seafood. It serves as a co-enzyme, working with other B vitamins. It promotes healthy red blood cell formation, supports the nervous system and normal human growth. Vitamin B2 is water-soluble and cannot be stored by the body except in insignificant amounts. It must be replenished daily.

Vitamin C
The best food sources of vitamin C include all citrus fruits (oranges, grapefruit, lemons and tangerines), strawberries, tomatoes, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, peppers and cantaloupe. Vitamin C is a "fragile" vitamin and can be destroyed by cooking or exposure of food to oxygen. Vitamin C supports cardiovascular health. Vitamin C has become a popular vitamin. Since it is water-soluble, vitamin C is flushed from the body each day. As humans don't always eat foods containing an adequate amount of vitamin C, it often is beneficial to take a supplement.

Vitamin D3
Regular sunlight exposure is the main way that most humans get their vitamin D. Food sources of vitamin D include vitamin D-fortified milk, cod liver oil and fatty fish, such as salmon. Small amounts of vitamin D are found in egg yolks and liver. Vitamin D promotes the absorption of calcium and phosphorus, and supports the production of several proteins involved in calcium absorption and storage. Vitamin D works with calcium to support bone health.

Boron
Boron is a mineral found at high levels in plant foods such as dried fruits, nuts, dark green leafy vegetables, applesauce, grape juice and cooked dried beans and peas. Boron is found in most tissues, but mainly in the bone, spleen and thyroid. Boron functions in bone metabolism. Boron helps to build and maintain healthy bones. It also helps to retain adequate amounts of calcium and magnesium for optimal bone health.

Potassium
Potassium is an electrolyte stored in the muscles. Foods rich in potassium include bananas, oranges, cantaloupe, avocado, raw spinach, cabbage and celery. Potassium is an essential mineral that helps maintain fluid balance in the body. It also plays a role in a wide variety of biochemical and physiological processes. Among other things, potassium is important in supporting healthy cardiovascular, muscles and nerves health.

FAQ

Why should I take calcium?
Everyone needs calcium. It is difficult to ensure adequate intake of calcium in their daily diet. Calcium is helpful in supporting and maintaining bone health. It's very important in the activity of many bodily enzymes, and it aids in the contraction of skeletal and cardiac muscle. Taking a calcium supplement daily is key to maintaining strong bones and leads to good bone health if you do not consume sufficient calcium in your daily diet.

How much calcium should I take?
The most common supplemental amount suggested for adults is 800 to 1,000 mg per day.

I'm not an elderly woman. Why should I take a calcium supplement?
Calcium plays a huge role in supporting many major bodily processes with implications that extend far beyond the age factor. The elderly, younger women, pregnant and lactating women, and men should take a calcium supplement. Younger women need more calcium to build up the strength of their bones. Pregnant and lactating women need extra calcium, at least 1200 mg/day.

What is the suggested age to begin taking Isotonix Calcium Plus?
Isotonix Calcium Plus is for anyone 18 years of age or older.

Why should I choose Isotonix Calcium Plus?
It is because of the Isotonix delivery system. The benefits of the isotonic process is probably now becoming clear! When an isotonic substance enters the body, it will be absorbed into the bloodstream rapidly. With isotonic fluids, little nutritive value is lost, making the absorption of nutrients highly efficient. An isotonic fluid is nature's own nutrient delivery system. Individual response varies.

Why is there a sandy residue left in the cup after mixing with water?
To ensure that our solutions reach the point of saturation, regardless of the pH or mineral levels in water, we have maximised the formulation amounts so that every serving of Isotonix Calcium Plus contains the correct amount of calcium. The residue left in the cup is due to over-saturation, which is common in tap water with a higher pH level or a higher mineral content.

Does Isotonix Calcium Plus contain pork or pork products?
No.

Is Isotonix Calcium Plus manufactured in a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) facility?
Yes, this product is manufactured in a GMP-compliant facility.

I don't drink milk or eat very much dairy, I needed this in my life! I take it twice a day with my morning and nightly concoctions. I know my bones are getting the nutrients and such that they need to stay healthy and strong. Tastes great too which is a plus!

I enjoy taking these products.

I enjoy taking the Isotonix products. My question is are they all natural?

Calcium plus is packed with everything you need

on 24/1/2016

Calcium plus D3 is the best form for calcium absorption in addition to Isotonic form. This combo includes Magnesium, D3, C, Riboflavin, Potassium & Manganese. Did you know with out the D3 combination Calcium may not be able to make it to the places its needed. Great product has done some much for regulating my stress levels not just my bone health.

No magnesium

on 28/12/2015

Why doesn't this product have magnesium? According to my research, calcium must always be taken with magnesium. It's great that you have D3 and K with it, but it's missing an important ingredient without the magnesium. Also, calcium orotate is better absorbed into the body. I haven't yet found a good calcium supplement on your site.

A must have

I read calcium in a pill or capsule is extremely difficult to break down and get the proper absorption so I wanted to try calcium in isotonic form. Since I've tried this product I haven't felt the same and I feel great!
